- Before I go ahead and talk about my little bundle of joy, I want to go back way before he was conceived. To all you first time mums and dads out there thinking about/having a baby, Do you know what it is all about? I mean you can read as many articles, magazines and let’s not forget ‘doctor google’, as much as you like. But truly until this little miracle is sat at home screaming for hours, do you realise what you’ve just brought home? Or has Satan just given you the devil?
- Honestly, I was one of those first time mums googling everything! I mean everything down too ‘what should happen if my waters broke in a supermarket’, I mean come on! I thought birth would be okay because, you know, you shouldn’t go in too confident; many women on this planet have done it, some more than once, so it can’t be that bad, can it? I thought I could cuddle this little human we’ve created all day every day. Basically I thought quite a lot of things would be a walk in the park. Some things are what I expected, like you’ll never feel the love you have for your son/daughter until they’re in your arms and everyday you’re watching them grow.
- But there are some things, BIG things, that you have no clue about and you have a ‘squeaky ‘mum’ time’ trying to figure out what the heck is going on.
